Our organic extra virgin olive oil is pressed in Italy from carefully selected Mediterranean olives. Obtained exclusively mechanically by the first cold pressing, without heat or chemicals. The result is a mild, soft oil without a bitter aftertaste – ideal for daily use, both cold and warm.

This oil complies with the strictest European organic legislation and contains no additives, no mixing with refined oil, and no oil from outside the EU.

Extra virgin (EVOO) is the purest, unprocessed olive oil. The oil is obtained by the first cold pressing using fully mechanical methods, without heating or chemical treatment. This preserves flavor, aroma, and nutrients to the maximum.

True EVOO meets strict quality criteria, including a low acidity (max. 0.8%). Our oil measures 0.33% acidity and is fully compliant with EU organic legislation.

Unfortunately, many olive oils in supermarkets are blends or partially refined, allowing them to be called “virgin” or “mild,” but they do not earn the extra virgin label. Our EVOO does:

1. What is really inside?
The label says 'olive oil,' but it is often a blend of refined oil mixed with a small percentage of extra virgin. How much exactly? The manufacturer does not have to disclose that. Moreover, it is regularly mixed with oil from countries outside the EU, even though 'EU/non-EU' appears in small print on the label.

2. Flavor and nutrition lost
To process unusable olives anyway, the oil is industrially refined: heated, deodorized, and bleached. What remains is a fat without flavor, antioxidants, or healthy fatty acids. Only by adding a bit of real oil afterward can it still be sold as 'olive oil' in stores.

3. Low quality as a base
For this process, olives that are overripe, damaged, or even already fermented are often used – olives that would be unsuitable for extra virgin olive oil. Yet they end up in large volumes of supermarket oil.
