Our journey to pure bone broth
HANT is not just a brand, it is a story of family, tradition, and health. What started centuries ago in a small village has passed from my grandmother to my father – and now to us.
Bone broth has always been seen as a golden elixir, a source of strength and resilience, especially in winter. What was once a necessity – wasting nothing and taking everything from nature – remains just as valuable today.
At HANT we continue this tradition, purely and carefully prepared, so that everyone can benefit from real bone broth, as it has been intended for generations.

A new beginning with bone broth
During her pregnancy, my wife was advised to drink bone broth to maintain her low blood levels. After the delivery, it helped her recover faster – a recommendation from her doctor.

The first bites of our daughter
Our daughter was below average weight and height until she was 5.5 to 6 months old during the famous check-ups of Kind en Gezin. When we started with solid food, bone broth from HANT was her first bite.
We incorporated it into all her dishes, from vegetable purees to soups. Within a month she was above average, and from 7 months until now, at 1 year, she is still above average at the check-ups.

An age-old tradition
Bone broth is not new to us. My father used to make soup from bones, a tradition he learned from my grandmother. She in turn had learned it from the villagers in Turkey, where bone broth has long been seen as a golden elixir for strength and resilience.
In the winter, when food was scarce, nothing was wasted, and bones were actually an important source of nutrients. It was an essential tradition passed down through generations.

From home experiment to HANT
When we started making bone broth ourselves, it was initially just for our family. My father gave me the tip, but we adjusted the recipe because my wife couldn't tolerate a strong meat smell or taste.
We always made too much, so we shared it with friends and family. Some people already made it themselves, but found it very time-consuming and not enjoyable to do. Often it was their mothers or grandmothers who used to make it when they had time.

Quality above all
What started as something small grew into HANT. We tested, optimized, and collaborated with nutrition specialists and laboratories for two years to ensure the highest quality. We invested in special equipment to make sure every jar is sterile, safe, and nutritious.
Today, HANT is more than a brand. It is a tribute to our roots, a natural source of strength and health, and a tradition we share with love.
