Make honey more liquid?
Raw honey crystallizes naturally. That is a good sign – it means the honey is genuine and unheated. Want to make the honey slightly liquid again? That can be done easily without damaging the good substances.

Here's how to do it safely:
– Place the closed jar in a bowl of warm water (au bain-marie)
– Make sure the water does not get warmer than 40 °C
– Let it warm up slowly to the desired texture
– Stir gently if necessary

Why max. 40 °C?
Above 40–42 °C, enzymes, antioxidants, and flavor compounds are lost. By heating slowly and gently, you preserve all valuable nutrients.

Crystallization is not a flaw, but rather a proof of quality.

Raw honey is not heated or industrially processed. This means that all natural substances are preserved:

– Enzymes
– Antioxidants
– Pollen
– Vitamins and minerals

Most honey from the supermarket is heated or mixed, causing these valuable properties to be largely lost.

• In yoghurt or smoothies
• Or simply straight from the spoon
• On bread or toast with optionally real butter or marrow fat
• In tea (add only once the tea is warm enough to drink, to preserve the enzymes)

Tip: raw honey is also suitable as a natural alternative to sugar in cold dishes.

• Mixed: Supermarket honey is often a mix of EU and non-EU honey, without transparency.
• Heated: To remain nicely liquid, honey is heated, losing nutritional value.
• Filtered: Pollen and enzymes are removed for commercial clarity, not for your health.
