A great ramen starts with a great sauce:

  1. Heat a splash of sesame oil in a pan.
  2. Add:
    • Finely chopped garlic
    • Grated ginger
    • Cook until fragrant.
  3. Add the secret ingredient:

    • Let it melt into a silky smooth liquid.

Flavour enhancers:

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tsp miso paste
  • 1 tsp chili paste

Let it simmer gently. Dilute with some water if needed.

Stir-fry briefly to keep the vegetables crisp.
