ORGANIC - Raw Honey – Unheated, Unfiltered & Pure - 500g

Raw honey naturally crystallizes. This is a good sign – it means the honey is genuine and unheated. Want to make the honey slightly liquid again? You can do this easily without damaging the beneficial substances.

Here’s how to do it safely:
– Place the closed jar in a bowl of warm water (au bain-marie)
– Make sure the water does not get warmer than 40 °C
– Let it warm up slowly to the desired consistency
– Stir gently if needed

Why a maximum of 40 °C?
Above 40–42 °C, enzymes, antioxidants, and flavor compounds are lost. By heating slowly and gently, you preserve all valuable nutrients.

So crystallization is not a flaw, but rather proof of quality.

• Mixed: Supermarket honey is often a blend of EU and non-EU honey, without transparency.
• Heated: Honey is heated to stay nicely liquid, losing nutritional value.
• Filtered: Pollen and enzymes are removed for commercial clarity, not for your health.

• Is this really raw honey?

• Why is my honey solid or crystallized?
  
  That is normal and a good sign — it proves the honey has not been heated. Want it liquid? Place the jar in warm water at max. 40 °C (or under running lukewarm water). Never use the microwave.

• How much can I take per day?
  
  One tablespoon per day is ideal for most people. Do not add to drinks warmer than 40 °C — valuable substances will be lost.
• Is it safe for children?
  
  Raw honey is safe from 1 year old. For babies under 1 year, honey — raw or not — is not recommended due to the risk of botulism.

• What is the expiration date?
  
  Raw honey, when stored properly (dry, dark, cool), is virtually shelf-stable indefinitely. The date on the jar is legally required but not a true expiration date.

• Where does this honey come from?
